Established in 1989 in the heart of Volcanic Plateau market garden country, Waimarino Tree Resource is the highest altitude forestry nursery in New Zealand.
Our volcanic ash soils strongly assist in producing good friable root systems.
The high altitude climate gives a more disease free nursery site and helps produce good hard seedlings suitable for transplanting into any region, especially harsh sites.
Our lifting season extends to the end of September making good quality seedlings available beyond other nurseries seasons.
